WEESDev Foundation Empowers High School Students in Buea Municipality Through FIED’s 3rd Career-Based Orientation

In a collaborative effort to uplift high school students, particularly those facing socio-economic challenges such as Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and students with disabilities in Buea municipality, WEESDev Foundation recently participated in the 3rd edition of an integrated Career-based orientation organized by FIED. This impactful event, held in partnership with RETIS (based in Canada), AMOM Foundation, and COOGMANN, aimed to provide students with a diverse array of professional career opportunities.

The collaboration proved to be a tremendous success as students were exposed to invaluable insights and guidance on various career paths. FIED, in conjunction with its esteemed partners, prioritized empowering the youth to become future job creators rather than mere job seekers. Through this initiative, students were equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to make informed decisions about their academic and professional journeys.

WEESDev Foundation remains committed to fostering a culture of empowerment and self-reliance among the younger generation. By participating in initiatives like FIED’s integrated Career-based orientation, the foundation contributes to creating a brighter and more promising future for high school students in Buea municipality.
