Welcome to WEESDev, a dynamic non-profit organization committed to sustainable development and environmental education. Our foundation is built on the principles of non-political, non-religious, and non-profit initiatives, uniting women and youth from diverse social backgrounds in a shared mission.

Global Impact, Local Roots

Operating on a global scale, WEESDev focuses its initial efforts on making a difference in Cameroon and across the African continent. Our headquarters, nestled in the vibrant city of Buea, serves as the hub for our impactful initiatives.

Founding Date and Recognition

WEESDev officially commenced its operations in Cameroon on the 7th of April 2021. We are proud to be a registered entity, bearing the recognition and endorsement of the Senior Divisional Officer for Fako Division and the Divisional Delegate for Environment, Cameroon. Our registration number, 269/G, 37/C84/VOLI/SAAJP, signifies our commitment to transparency and adherence to regulatory standards.

Our Inspiration

In a world where the very fabric of our planet is strained by mounting anthropogenic pressures, we acknowledge the urgent need for transformative action. The consequences—shifting climates, diminishing biodiversity, heightened poverty, and widespread suffering—underscore the critical juncture at which we find ourselves.
